_______
WELCOME

Welcome to 'We Can Take Back America', the screen
saver that expresses your most cherished beliefs
(if you're a dittohead that is). Liberals will run
fast for the nearest Cancel button! To get the most
from your new screen saver, you should carefully
review the following information. If you are only
just now installing the program, you can either
review it now or at any time later. Just click on
the Read Me icon that will automatically be set
up in the Start menu.

____________
INSTALLATION

To install the program, just follow the on-screen
prompts. The only decision that you'll be asked
to make is where you want the program installed.
The default destination for the files' installation
is C:\Program Files\TakeBack, but you can install the
files anywhere you choose by pressing the Browse
button and selecting a drive and folder. At the
end of the installation process, you will be asked
whether you want to restart the computer. If you
click the Yes button, your computer will restart
automatically. If you select the No button, you
will later need to manually restart the computer
by clicking on Shut Down from the Start menu.
The screen saver program will not work properly
until the computer has been restarted. Also, even
though this software will install successfully on
a computer running Windows NT 3.51, it will not run
properly once it's installed. If your computer is
running Windows NT 3.51 or earlier and does not use
the Windows 95 or NT 4.0 interface, you should not
install this program.

UNINSTALLING THE PROGRAM

If you decide that you no longer want 'We Can Take Back
America' inhabiting your computer, you can give it its
eviction notice by selecting the 'Uninstall Take Back
America' item on the Start menu. If you want to do it
the hard way, you can manually uninstall this undesired
program by using the data contained in the SETUPLOG.TXT
file. Or use Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel for
yet another method of automatic uninstall.

_________________________
STARTING THE SCREEN SAVER

After the screen saver program has been correctly
installed and the computer has been restarted, you
can start up your screen saver program by clicking
on the Conservative Expressions item on the Taskbar
and then double-clicking the TakeBack icon that then
appears in the now-opened Conservative Expressions
folder. When the screen saver is initially run, it
makes an icon for itself automatically on the Desktop.
If you do not want the TakeBack icon taking space on
your Desktop, simply drag it to the Recycle Bin and
use only the icon on the Start menu. You can also
type TAKEBACK at the MS-DOS prompt.

_________________________
STOPPING THE SCREEN SAVER

To return to the Desktop when the screen saver is
displayed, simply press the Spacebar. If a nasty
shareware reminder screen pops up, just press the
Spacebar once again to wipe off the message and
return at once to the Desktop. Once the program
is registered, the shareware screen will no longer
be shown. You can also exit the screen saver by
pressing the ESC key as many times as is required.
You'll eventually get back to the Desktop by using
this method. Moving the mouse does not stop the
execution of the screen saver program.

__________________________
ADJUSTING THE SCREEN SAVER

To experiment with various screen saver options,
just press any of the arrow keys on your keyboard.
Pressing the Up and Down arrow keys adjusts the
screen saver's SIZE. Pressing the Left and Right
arrow keys adjusts the SPEED of display. All of
these adjustments can also be accomplished by
pressing the M (Mode) and the S (Speed) keys on
your computer's keyboard. Don't worry. You won't
be required to remember any of these keys. Simply
press the F1 key for help and all will be listed.

____________________
AUTOMATIC ACTIVATION

Automatic activation after a specified period of
keyboard or mouse inactivity is possible if you
are using Windows 95 but only if Microsoft Plus!,
the Windows 95 add-on, is also installed on your
computer. If you do not currently have Microsoft
Plus! installed, you cannot set up the automatic
activation feature. For detailed information on
setting up your screen saver to enable automatic
activation, refer to the on-line manual described
in the forthcoming section.

____________________
GETTING ON-LINE HELP

To display a concise menu of available choices and
options, press the F1 key. The help menu appears.
Just press the letter of the desired command or option,
or use the arrow keys to highlight the option and press
the Enter key. To see a complete listing of available
command-line switches, type TAKEBACK /? at the MS-DOS
Prompt and then press Enter.

THE ON-LINE MANUAL

More extensive documentation is available from the
on-line user's guide which can be accessed from an
icon on the Start menu. If it happens that this
manual cannot be properly accessed by clicking on
this icon (perhaps because WordPad isn't installed
on your computer), either install WordPad from the
Windows 95 disk or CD-ROM, or else use an editor
such as Notepad to open the file MANUAL.TXT in
the program folder. To gain access to the program
folder, simply click the 'Shortcut to TakeBack Folder'
item in the Start menu.

______________________
ACCESSING THE WEB SITE

If you currently have an Internet connection set up on
your computer, the Conservative Expressions Web Site is
only a few clicks away! Just click the 'Connect to the
Web Site' icon in the Start menu or double-click on the
HTML document (called Connect!) in the TakeBack folder.
As the document opens in Netscape or Internet Explorer,
just click the displayed link to beam up to the site.

__________
MEGADITTOS!

Conservative Expressions hopes that you will enjoy your
new screen saver and very much welcomes your questions
or comments. Just write to the postal address listed at
the end of this document or come visit the Web site at
www.conxxx.com. You do not need to be concerned about
the triple-x rating! It's truly NOT a pornographic site
(although liberals who visit just might think so).
